Our classic Erongo Vellies, each with a pattern all its own.
Handcrafted in South Africa from Nguni calf hair and leather, every pair carries the distinctive markings of the hide it was born from. Each new arrival brings an entirely different assortment of naturally occurring patterns—no two pairs are ever alike.
Finished with a hand-carved wooden Brother Vellies logo charm, these are the Southern African desert shoes that started it all.

We use traditional Vellie sizing. Women should count up four numbers for their US size equivalent (ex. Vellie Size 4 = US Women's 8) and Men should count up two sizes (ex. Vellies Size 8 = US Men's 10)

Brother Vellies shoes are handmade from bi-product or environmentally conscious materials. Because of this, no two pairs will ever be identical, and each pair has its own personality, making them yours and yours alone.
US Orders
We offer standard shipping on all orders, with complimentary shipping on orders over $500.
Orders under $500 will be charged the calculated UPS rate at checkout.
In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days before shipping. Once shipped, orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days, depending on your location.

International Orders
We offer worldwide shipping via DHL. Shipping costs, duties, and taxes are calculated at checkout.
In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days before shipping. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 4–14 business days, depending on the destination. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
All international orders are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning applicable import duties and taxes are collected at checkout to avoid additional charges upon delivery. Please note that duties and taxes are non-refundable once your order has shipped.
